Electrical ServicesAbout Us

The Southeast’s Trusted Choice for Electrical Engineering

Founded in 2020, REAMCO specializes in developing custom power distribution solutions for the industrial market. We work from beginning to end: from design services, engineering studies, and complete drawing packages to manufacturing and commissioning equipment. Our team also provides ongoing customer support by offering field and emergency services and preventative maintenance throughout Alabama, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, and beyond.

Our Company History

How We Serve the Cement Industry

Our engineering team has a deep understanding of how cement plants operate. From anticipating typical undervoltage scenarios to protecting equipment from harsh environments, we engineer motors for applications only found in cement plants.

Eaton-Certified Original Equipment Manufacturer

At REAMCO, quality control sets us apart. As an Eaton-certified OEM, we take every opportunity to learn from their experts and align our processes with the industry’s highest standards.

Woman-Owned Business

We’re proud to be a woman-owned business led by our president, Rhiannon Rivers. She brings substantial business acumen, hands-on electrical engineering experience, and experience as a project manager and supervisor of substation design at Southern Company. These qualities guide us toward excellence in power distribution system manufacturing.

Custom-Engineered Solutions

Your facility deserves more than the factory standard. At REAMCO, we use every resource available to customize a solution for your specific needs. All of our designs, CAD work, and manufacturing are completed in-house from our 20,000+ sq ft facility headquartered in Childersburg, Alabama.

Top-Down Training Philosophy

New technicians go through the same 3-6 week training program as Eaton’s own field service technicians, where they gain intensive, hands-on experience. When they return, they are further mentored by our seasoned techs, eventually becoming mentors themselves.

Learn More About Our Services & Standards

At Rivers Electrical Services LLC, we believe in quality. We use high-grade materials and employ only industry-standard practices set forth by the governing bodies within the electrical equipment, electrical code, and electrical testing industry. These include:

  • We do not use non-silvered buses unless the design dictates otherwise.
  • We do not use painted panels on new equipment; all new equipment is provided with a powder coat finish.
  • We only use mechanically restrained control wiring—no sticky-backs holding zip ties in place in switchgear or on doors.
  • All newly built vertical sections and starters are furnished with humidistats and space heaters regardless of the environment.
  • All copper is sized using a density-rated formula of 1,000 amps per square inch; this allows adequate conductor heating to dissipate moisture while ensuring adequate ampacity.
  • Our bus bracing standards are based on published industry-standard practices and materials.
  • All torqued connections are marked and verified.
  • All hardware is USS type, zinc-plated grade 5 unless the application dictates otherwise.
  • All pre-built panels are cut out using CNC machining practices to ensure accurate fitment.
  • All equipment is tested prior to arriving onsite.
  • Full, accurate CAD packages are provided for all relevant projects and services.
